HOW TO SPOT FAKE GUCCI BAGS

its very hard to spot fake gucci bags because most are very detailed and very close to the origional. but there are a few checks that you really need to make just to be sure:

there are so many details on gucci bags. if you are buying the most popular double G logo bag, is the logo an actual G? make sure you study the logo of an authentic bag, so when you are confronted with a fake you will be absolutely sure that it is what it is. many fake gucci bags have old logos. the logos should be on the inside of the bag, the zippers and the bag should come with an identification card.

determine if the colour is faded: gucci knock-off's almost always have a faded hue to them.

as they say, you get what you pay for. gucci is ultra expensive for a reason. the handbags arent cheap and you should be prepared to pay a few hundred for an authentic bag or even thousands for their speciality bags (even on ebay).

look at the quality as closely as possible. if its new and already falling apart or isnt the highest quality of fabric then it is probably a fake. gucci bags should be made of leather or another high quality fabric.

does it come with the extras? a real gucci bag should come with a dust cover, a gucci box etc. if its wrapped in plastic, chances are, your buying a fake.

scrutinize the handbag logo. if the G looks more like an E you probably have a fake. the E like logo is the most common thing that gives away a fake gucci.

if you already have the bag and want to know if its a fake, feel it. authentic gucci handbags are made from a high-quality, heavy-duty fabric. if you are unsure, its a fake.

always remember that shopping on ebay is a gamble. even if you are 99 percent sure you are purchasing an authentic gucci, you wont know until that package comes in the post.



HOW TO SPOT A FAKE GUCCI SELLER:

if the item takes an extended period of time to ship (item will be shipped in three weeks time etc).

the seller has many of the same items. only retail shops can buy in bulk at wholesale prices.

if the seller is based in hong kong (loads of fake merchandice is made there).

or if the seller uses the same photo for all auctions. this is not always the case but USUALLY is.

if the seller gives you a hard time about taking aditional photos, be wary. most sellers are happy to sell their product and will be eager to keep more people interested in bidding.

it does not matter if the seller has 100% feedback as many buyers dont even know fake LAMB exists. it does not matter if the seller guarentee's the item is authentic and offers a money back policy. if you file the claim after 45 days then paypal/ebay cant do anything about it.
